In Exodus 20:8-11, we read Yahweh’s fourth commandment which He spoke to the people at Sinai:
“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of Yahweh your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. For in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.”
Let us consider some important truths concerning the sabbath. (I hope you still have your dentures in from the last writing.) First, it is important to know that in the larger picture, Yahweh will not have a sabbath for 43,000 chronological years, which are a legal 49,000 years, as He is laboring that entire time. This is addressed in The Issue – II, page 12.
Briefly, in this sequence of time Yahweh repeatedly stacks the eighth day on the seventh, the sabbath, thereby annulling it. This is testified on numerous occasions when Yahshua continually labored on the sabbath, and even instructed others to do the same (John 5:8-12), stating that He must labor because His Father was working (John 5:17). Yahweh continues to labor because He operates on a much larger time of multiple thousands of years. Peter states that a thousand years is as a day to Yahweh (2 Peter 3:8); thus, a week is 7,000 years long.
But, and this is addressed in the above writing, on the larger scope Yahweh’s week is seven 7,000-year-long days. Therefore, a week for Him is 7 x 7,000 years, or 49,000 years. Why is this so? Because of Jubilee. A Jubilee waiting period at man’s level is 49 years. At the higher fulfillment of Yahweh God’s thousands level, it is a count of 49 x 1,000 years, thus the 49,000 years. At the fulfillment of that mega Jubilee waiting period, He can then declare Jubilee for the entirety of His creation—man, the earth, even the fallen angels.
While we are on this matter, let us note that seven and its multiples are comparable waiting periods—whether it be:
- 7, leading to the eighth, such as the great eighth day of Tabernacles, or
- 7 and 7, the two mark-of-the-beast periods of Christianity, or
- 7 x 7, for 49, which as we see here is the count to Jubilee or to Pentecost, which are in fact even fulfilling eighths, or
- 7 x 10, for 70, the time of the Babylonian captivity before they could return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple, or
- 7 x 70, for 490, the waiting period for blessed time, waiting for the blessing at the end of this period, and its multiples thereof, or
- 7 x 1,000, which is what we see here in Yahweh’s week of 7,000 years relative to man, or
- 7 x 7,000, Yahweh’s week that leads us to His great Jubilee for all creation.
In every case, these multiples of 7 are all waiting periods whereby Yahweh deals with man, including at the level of His own vaster works.
Regarding this latter work period for Yahweh, keep in mind that during this time He stacks the eighth day, the day after the sabbath, on the sabbath, as shown here, thereby annulling it.

By doing this, these six 1,000-year annulled sabbaths, vis-à-vis 6,000 years, are lost. Therefore, 49,000 years are cut short to a chronological 43,000 years. Thus, for the cause of the Father laboring during this entire time, as well as His creation still being under bondage and loss and in need of Jubilee, both labor and loss cannot cease until this full measure of time is completed.
We see from these cases of multiples of 7—the mark of the beast, Babylonian captivity, and even the fact of living in this flesh—that this larger period would legally be a time of bondage and corruption. This is to be expected since the purpose of Jubilee is to deliver us from debt, bondage, and loss. It is quite interesting and confirming that the number 43,000 attests to the same thing. Let us consider this.
We read in Exodus 12:40-41 that the sons of Israel sojourned in Egypt for 430 years, this coming to an end when they departed from Egypt for the promised land. Thereby, even as the sons of Israel sojourned in Egypt for 430 years, on the higher level of Yahweh’s dealings with His creation, it too is a time of sojourning in Egypt for 43,000 years.
Also, in Galatians 3:16-17, we read regarding these same 430 years:
Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ. What I am saying is this: the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant [with Abraham] previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise.
In what year did Yahweh make this covenant with Abraham? This is the covenant recorded in Genesis 15 where Abraham laid out the split covenant parts, and the burning torch and smoking oven passed between them. This took place in 1877 B.C. when Abraham was 70 (once again testifying to the completion of a waiting period). Then 430 years later the Law was given at Sinai in 1447 B.C.
We see then that they came out of Egypt and the Law was given in the 430th year. Quite interestingly, three periods of 430 years following the covenant with Abraham brings us to 587 B.C. Following this third period, in 586 B.C., the first year of the next 430-year period, Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed by the Babylonians and the people taken into captivity in Babylon. Obviously, bondage and loss was testified to be continuing.
We know that the number nine is the number of completion—e.g., gestation for a child is nine months. If we then count nine periods of 430 years from the covenant with Abraham, this brings us to 1994 A.D. Even as something good was testified to in the 430th year from Yahweh’s covenant with Abraham—departing from Egypt and the giving of the Law at Sinai—so something good took place in 1994. This was the year when the Holy Spirit sovereignly came upon me and revealed these marvelous truths regarding the two-part Bride. This Bride work that brings Yahshua’s return and enters into the sabbath rest began in 1994, initiating our journey into the true promised land, the Millennial reign.
Thus, not only is 1994 the Jubilee year following 120 Jubilee waiting periods from the fall of Adam (The Curse of 1920, Appendix 19), now we see yet another marvelous testimony to this genesis Bride year—the completion of nine periods of 430 years, equally calling for Jubilee.
Quite significantly, two completely separate testimonies identifying and even determining the revelation and beginning of the Bride took place in 1994. In like manner, it is quite hopeful that, as we saw in “Three To Depart, Three To Return … Three To Go Out, Three To Go Up,” there are two completely separate testimonies identifying and hopefully even determining the three-year Elijah ministry period and the ascension of the Bride in 2011. Yahweh has then provided two separate witnesses for each of these two highly significant events—one we already saw the fulfillment of in 1994, and one we hope to see fulfilled at this time.
The year 1994 also marks a very important point in the fulfillment of the covenant foreshadowed with Abraham. 3,870 years before 1994, Abraham laid out specifically three-year-old animals that were split into two parts. Now in the third part of the church, the second Remnant is being laid out as the other part of the Bride split work. The covenant that was foreshadowed by Abraham is being completed today, as the smoking torch of the body of Christ passes between the split covenant parts of the two-part Bride. The male passes between the split covenant parts of the female. Through this body and two-part Bride composition of the church, Yahweh thereby effects His covenant with mankind at a much higher level than Genesis 15—the lampstand between the two olive trees (Zechariah 4). I hope you realize how profoundly significant this is.
Before continuing this consideration of the sabbath, let us also note that George W. Bush was the forty-third president—indicating a completion as well. Of course he is in type the second Remnant, his father being the first—the two Bushs being split by Christianity Clinton. He is also the concluding ninth in the sequence of presidents who died in office every twenty-year election cycle. Once again for two attesting reasons, it seems quite timely that the Elijah work would begin at the end of Bush 43’s term and defeat Jezebel, and that America, the kingdom of heaven at the nations level, would experience its own MUCH NEEDED deliverance and Jubilee (and not by the hand of Obama).
Getting back to the subject of the sabbath, does this 49,000-year waiting period cut short to 43,000 years mean that a sabbath cannot be fulfilled at all during this entire time? No, but what it does require is that the sabbath be entered into at the fulfillment level for which it was intended.
In Hebrews 4:3-11 we are told that “there remains a sabbath rest for the people of God,” whereby we rest from our works and enter into His sabbath. What labors do we rest from, for indeed the Father’s labors will not cease? As we approach the hope of ascending alive, we know all the more what that rest is—it is ceasing to labor in this flesh. Only then can we truly cease our labors and enter into His rest, where we do only His will.
Governmentally, according to these same passages, the timing of this is upon entering into the promised land, the identical testimony regarding the multiple of 430 years. This, of course, first is the Millennial reign, when the Bride will be taken into heaven and these earthly bodies will be transformed into incorruptible, immortal bodies that are born from above. This is the first resurrection. We will then return with Yahshua and reign with Him for a thousand years.
Do you see that this is precisely what is pictured in the previous numeric representation where the “1” was sequentially stacked on the “7”? The whole of mankind cannot yet enter into this rest, for the sabbath rest is annulled by stacking the higher dimension 1 on the 7. However, though mankind cannot experience this rest, a remnant does—first the Bride. Yahweh takes the Bride to a higher dimension in order to fulfill the sabbath. The fact is, the only true sabbath there is, is to ascend alive and enter into an incorruptible body.
In Mark 2:27, Yahshua clearly stated, “The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.” Can man EVER enter into the promised sabbath while in this cursed flesh? No! We can and should seek to do so, and can even walk out shadows of the sabbath; but, man was not made for the sabbath. The fact is, the sabbath rest we have to enter into is a higher dimension rest that has been made for us and is to be our much awaited and a much needed fulfillment. As it is equally stated in Hebrews, this is something that we are to be diligent to enter into; and the hope that is before us now of being the Elijah Bride places this within our grasp.
This needed entirety of transformation by virtue of the sabbath is confirmed in kingdom John 7:22-24 where Yahshua tied together circumcision and the sabbath:
“For this reason Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and on the sabbath you circumcise a man. If a man receives circumcision on the sabbath so that the Law of Moses will not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made an entire man well on the sabbath? Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
The circumcision we must have is indeed the circumcision of our flesh—the removal of this earthly flesh covering. We read in Exodus 20:11 that “Yahweh blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.” This is the holiness we must enter into—set apart entirely unto Him, even the circumcision of this flesh. Thus in this first seventh-day of mankind the first resurrection of the Bride takes place, causing us to enter into Yahweh’s sabbath rest by ascending alive, identified here in red.

So, when then does the body of Christ enter into their sabbath rest, the second resurrection? They enter in on the fourth day, as addressed in The Issue – II, page 11 and shown here in blue.

But, you ask, “How can that be a sabbath, for it’s not a seventh day in this sequence?” Remember, the sabbath rest is an experience, not just a specific day (which we need to realize and seek to practice every day). However, as addressed in The Millennial Calendar, the fourth day, our Wednesday, is in fact the sabbath. (Read page 13 of that writing to learn more about the timing of the resurrection of the body of Christ.) Also, as indicated in The Waltz of Life, you can see that at one level their rest is a seventh day—the 1 – 4 – 7. Here is that chart.

But, most importantly, the precedence for the resurrection of the body of Christ on the fourth day has already been set forth—Yahshua Himself resurrected on the fourth day of mankind. Therefore, even as Yahshua resurrected on the fourth day, so does His body.
Then finally, there is the third resurrection, the resurrection of the nations. This too takes place on a seventh-day sabbath, as we see here marked in green. The first are now last to enter into Yahweh’s rest. (For more information about these three resurrections, read Two Trees In the Garden.)

Interestingly, if you count these creation days of mankind governmentally, rather than chronologically, this is the Leviticus 23:15-16 Pentecost pattern of 7 2 – 7 2 – 1, with the nations entering into its sabbath on the 1.

This latter “1” event following the two 7s would be mankind’s own Gihon, as we have been writing about; but as we addressed in “Four Rivers From Eden,” it is in fact their Euphrates. In fact, “Gihon” and “Euphrates” both have the identical meaning—“bursting forth.” (Likewise, “Pishon” and “Tigris” both mean “swift flowing.”)
As you can see, this 7 – 7 – 1 period for mankind creates the Garden, the kingdom of heaven on earth. With the completion of this 7 – 7 – 1, all four rivers from Eden will be fully flowing—the two-part Bride, the body of Christ, and the nations. And, might we add, this is the same 7 2 – 7 2 – 1 Leviticus 23 Pentecost pattern we take hope in right now as we approach the February 13 Tabernacles Pentecost. If Yahweh is going to fulfill this pattern for mankind, we take hope that He will certainly fulfill it for us today.
Another interesting testimony regarding Yahweh’s patterns is that the chronological accounting of these days over 43,000 years, attests to the good that is in the number that Christianity and the world calls evil—666.

You will notice that the first three “days” at Yahweh’s higher level chronologically are in fact six 1,000 years and six 1,000 years and six 1,000 years, or 6 – 6 – 6. Of course in the 1, 2, 3 and 1, 2, 3 creation pattern where the second set of threes is a greater fulfillment of the former, this would then be 6, 6, 6, that brings mankind into His sabbath rest, and 6, 6, 6, that brings the remainder of His creation (angels) into His rest. Thus, once again, 666 is certainly good.
On the other hand, we find from the testimony of the church that if Yahweh gave it the last 1,000-year period, the seventh-day sabbath, it would be, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken us.” For the sake of the elect, the church has to be cut short to two “days,” and the eighth day (shown here as a first) stacked on the seventh day.
If we look at the number for calculating the beast as stated in Revelation 13:18 in the earliest manuscripts—616—we find something quite revealing and confirming concerning it. Let us look at it too as a pattern: 6 – 1 – 6.
As we have just noted, if Yahweh did not cut the church short to two days instead of three, it would mean the complete corruption of the kingdom and its utter failure. For example, it would be the same fate as if Judah had given Tamar to his third son, Shelah—death for all three, and thereby an end to the lineage leading to Yahshua! That is what 616 testifies to.
The first 6 attests to the six 1,000-year days leading to the sabbath. The 1 attests to the chronological sabbath: 6 – 1. And the next 6 attests to an ongoing count: 6 – 1 – 6. Therefore, 616, the number by which to calculate the beast, attests to Yahweh giving man the next 1,000 years and evil continuing to rule. This is a very revealing and confirming testimony concerning 666, the number associated in the Scriptures with the gold of Solomon’s temple, and ascending alive (The Issue – II, page 4); and 616, the testimony of the beast.
In closing, it is quite interesting in the Exodus 20:8-11 statement by Yahweh regarding the sabbath, how He characterizes the six days of creation. We read in verse 11, “For in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day.” Note, there is no mention of the land, the trees, the beasts, or even of man. Basically, all we find mentioned here in this account regarding the sabbath is the sea and all that is in them. Why? Is this not what has been the fate of earthly man for 6,000 years, including kingdom men for 2,000 years? They have all gone to the sea of death where Leviathan, Satan, sports. And is this not an appropriate contrast then between the earth and the sabbath rest that is above, in heaven? The earth has led to the sea of death for 6,000 years, and the sabbath is above, is holy to Yahweh, and gives rest. This is indeed the sabbath that we so much need and long to enter into—ascending alive into heaven, our bodies transformed into the incorruptible, entering into His rest.
