Did we receive the hope of Tabernacles Pentecost on April 3—the beginning of the three-and-a-half-year period of the covenant with the many, the signet ring, the beginning of the latter rain? Did the serpent turn back into the rod? The answer depends on what happens in the days before us, which I will explain.
When nothing apparent took place on April 3, the days following were an emotional rollercoaster for me. Yahweh is God, and He knows what He is doing, so it would do no good to get upset with Him. So on the one hand, I could accept a lack of evidence. But on the other hand, all the incredible things I have seen and experienced—the undeniable, profound truths evidenced in the Scriptures; the many amazing things that have happened in my life that point to where we are today; the dreams and visions I have had; the intercessions—would all come crashing down on me and crush me. Add to this the wonder of what to do now, and the rollercoaster was inevitable.
Once again I began to make plans to go to truck-driving school, and started studying to take the test for my driver’s permit. But, I was in conflict about what to do. Seeking resolution, I talked with several Bride members. In a conversation with Brendan in New York, who has been with the Bride since 2002, he mentioned Passover as an option, which I gave no credence to. Later that day though, I went on a walk around a local lake, and the prospect and significance of Passover came before me.
One thing is evident concerning Yahweh, and that is—He is entirely legal, governmental. If not, He would be lawless and guilty of lawlessness and being random in His actions. Regarding the vital “covenant with the many” in Daniel 9, we know from history that Yahshua began His ministry with His baptism on Atonement, and three and a half years later was crucified on Passover. This was the fulfillment of Messiah the Prince coming in the middle of that seventieth period of seven years, walking out the latter three and a half years of that covenant. Then it dawned on me: If Yahshua’s fulfillment of those three and a half years was strictly in duration according to and specifically marked by feast days, is it not to be concluded that the same would be true with the fulfillment of the remaining period that belongs to the Elijah? Obviously so!
If Paul correctly set forth that the first resurrection is a Trumpets event (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17), which is at the time of Tabernacles, this would thereby obligate that the three-and-a-half-year Elijah period would begin at Passover. I hope you understand this. Passover and Tabernacles are six months apart (not considering the periodic addition of an extra month). From Passover to Trumpets is essentially six months. Then adding three more years takes one to Trumpets, three and a half years later.
What would this mean for us at this time? It dawned on me that the Elijah period, the remaining three and a half years, would have to begin on a Passover. If Yahshua’s three and a half years began on Atonement (29 A.D.) and ended on Passover (33 A.D.), then it would be essential that the Elijah work begin on Passover and end on Trumpets.
Yahshua: Atonement —> 3 ½ yrs —> Passover
Elijah: Passover —> 3 ½ yrs —> Trumpets
Yahshua repeatedly stated that the first is last, and the last is first. Therefore regarding this covenant, He walked out the last first, and Elijah walks out the first last. So, what do we see? We see the Elijah picking up precisely where Yahshua’s period left off—at Passover.
Atonement —> 3 ½ yrs —> Passover + Passover —> 3 ½ yrs —> Trumpets
It is interesting as well that Elijah occupies a very unique place in the Jew’s Passover meal. They actually make plans for him to attend the meal, setting a place for him, pouring him a glass of wine, and even sending a child to the door to see if he has arrived. They in fact expect Elijah at Passover, the very feast that the covenant with the many points to for his coming.
What then does all of this mean for us at this time? First, based on the following, we have concluded that the ascension of the Bride is in 2012:
- The fiftieth Jubilee from the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem by Nehemiah (click here),
- The flip of the calendar in 2008 (click here),
- The events that took place on Trumpets (click here) and Tabernacles (click here) in 2008,
- The count of three forty-nines leading up to Tabernacles Pentecost on April 3, 2009 (click here and click here), and
- A three-and-a-half-year ministry period.
If we are indeed to ascend alive at Trumpets, 2012, this dictates that the Elijah ministry period legally begin at Passover, 2009. This also dictates that, though legally secured at Tabernacles Pentecost, April 3, this ministry period could not have begun then.
Why did we not see this before? You will recall that this entire process for the last several months has been a walk of faith and trust, with each step gained one at a time. Therefore, what we are experiencing and seeing now is no different. It is a part in this continual unfolding. When we arrived at each place where we were to be, hoping it was the fulfillment, Yahweh then showed us what was next, yet another destination. As I related in the March 15, 2009, Remnant Bride Radio program, He gives us a ticket to get to the next destination, then gives us a ticket to the next, and then the next, until we get to our final destination.
Why did I not already consider this regarding Passover? Because I did not have the whole picture. I knew that the Elijah period had to begin, and that from April 3 was essentially three and a half years to Trumpets, 2012; but, I did not see the necessity of it beginning at Passover. Now we see this.
Let us now add yet another highly encouraging matter. After seeing this regarding Passover and having further discussion with Bride brothers, I counted the days that would transpire to get us from the April 3 Tabernacles Pentecost, to this year’s Passover on April 25. Keep in mind, all of these feasts addressed here are in relation to the New Millennial Calendar, and certainly not the Jewish calendar that both Christians and Jews follow in order to set forth the feasts.
In the opening, I stated that the answer to the success of the April 3 Tabernacles Pentecost—the beginning of the three-and-a-half-year period of the covenant with the many, the transfer of the signet ring, the beginning of the latter rain, the serpent turning back into the rod—was dependent upon what happens in the days before us. As you can now see, that which was being referred to was what takes place at Passover, beginning at sunrise on April 25. Also, it was just stated that our hopes for Passover are in fact the fulfillment of that which was legally secured at Tabernacles Pentecost. As you will now see, the count from Tabernacles Pentecost to Passover confirms this.
In the last four verses of Daniel 9, we have this exceptionally important government of the covenant with the many—Yahshua’s three-and-a-half-year ministry period, and MOST important for us today, the like period for the Elijah. Via a Tabernacles Pentecost, we have sought to receive that authority. Keep in mind, the only testimony of the transfer of a signet ring was when Mordecai received the king’s ring that was taken from Haman when he was revealed and hung on a fifty-cubits gallows, the number of Pentecost. We have to have power from on high, the latter rain; and while the first Remnant received the former rain at a Passover Pentecost, the second Remnant must receive the latter rain at a Tabernacles Pentecost.
But, though we did not receive the evidence of that power on April 3, or the signet ring, nor did the serpent turn back into the rod (the office Satan has held, going back to a man), the very next chapter in Daniel evidences that we did, but it is delayed.
First, the count from the April 3 Tabernacles Pentecost to the April 25 Passover evidences a twenty-one-day delay separating them, twenty-one days between them. In Daniel 10, IMMEDIATELY following the promise of the covenant with the many, is the account whereby the answer to Daniel’s prayer for understanding of a vision was delayed for the same twenty-one days. This delay is identified as three seven-day periods in verse 2, and as twenty-one days in verse 13. It is quite amazing and hopeful that there are precisely the same number of days between our present Tabernacles Pentecost and Passover. If we are indeed the fulfillment of Daniel 9 regarding the remaining covenant with the many, then we are likewise the fulfillment of Daniel 10:2 and 13 regarding the twenty-one-day delay.
Therefore, as evidenced in Daniel 10, we did indeed receive the promise of Tabernacles Pentecost on April 3; but because this promise legally could not begin until Passover, twenty-one days later, as with Daniel’s prayers it had to be delayed.
We find here that Daniel was on his face, with his face to the ground, and had no strength. And hopeful for us today, when the angel finally came to him, he raised him up, caused him to stand upright, opened his mouth, and gave him strength. The angel then told him precisely what was repeatedly told to Joshua (Deuteronomy 31:7, 23; Joshua 1:6, 7, 9, 18)—“be strong and be courageous” (10:19). This is what must take place with the Elijah. The angel also told Daniel that what he would tell him applied to “the latter days” (10:14), the very days we are living in.
It is also noteworthy that we have just completed three forty-nine-day counts to Tabernacles Pentecost. These are indeed delays as well, linked back to the great eighth day of Tabernacles, November 6, 2008, where the promise is that out of one’s innermost being will flow rivers of living water (John 7:37-38). Therefore, that promise has also been delayed, and should now equally be fulfilled. Having completed the three forty-nine-day counts, we now find that we are in a like count to Passover, but this time three seven-day periods. The delay from Tabernacles to its Pentecost was a 49 – 49 – 49, while the delay from Tabernacles Pentecost to Passover is a 7 – 7 – 7. These are essentially the same, for a 49 – 49 – 49 is a 7 2 – 7 2 – 7 2. Thus, the twenty-one days are a legal repeat of the 147 days to Tabernacles Pentecost that we just passed through.
Also, it was very important that neither of these counts stacked on the great eighth day or on Tabernacles Pentecost or on Passover. Remember, the twenty-one days lie between Tabernacles Pentecost and Passover. Legally, this is critical! Why? Because by stacking on any of those feast days would nullify their fulfillments! The fulfillments have to come; but, their timing is being dictated by these 49 x 3 and 7 x 3 delays. In this regard, Passover, beginning of April 25, should be an exceptionally important fulfillment! And may we note here as well, all of this simply unfolded in this order—it was not manipulated by us or preplanned. This too is quite hopeful for the upcoming Passover.
Let us comment on two other relevant matters. First, what is the testimony of Passover, the required beginning of the covenant with the many for Elijah? Most importantly, it is the promise that the first-born will not die. This is addressed in Passover, the Promise For the First-born. And who are the second Remnant Elijah company? They are indeed the first to escape death and ascend alive—the first to fulfill the promise of Passover. Also, unlike Pentecost which is a leavened wheat work, Passover is the barley feast which is an unleavened work—lacking the false teachings and corruption of Christianity. Therefore, it is quite fitting that the Elijah ministry period begins at Passover.
Also, when did the sons of Israel enter into the Promised Land west of the Jordan? It was on the tenth of the first month, just before Passover on the fourteenth (Joshua 4:19). After crossing the Jordan, just before Passover, a most important event took place that gives great hope for us today. They were circumcised at Gilgal, with the resulting promise that the reproach, the scorn, of Egypt/Christianity was rolled away.
But evidenced as well, and here indeed is our hope and trust, the testimony of circumcision is that, as with Abraham, Yahweh takes full responsibility for the outcome. For the Bride, the Elijah, this is the fulfillment of bringing forth the promised Son, Immanuel. Again, the hope here as we approach this MOST important Passover, is that Yahweh circumcises us, taking full responsibility. This is essential!
Finally, and worthy of repeating, as Daniel was told to “be strong and be courageous,” on several occasions Joshua was told the same as he led the people into the Promised Land. If we are to be a light and voice, and call the world to righteousness, rejecting what is evil and exposing every act of lawlessness, then the need for strength and courage is without question. The very fact that this is testified here tells us that the need for both will confront us.
At each point along this journey since September and October, 2008, it has seemed that we could go no further. But as we now approach Passover, it appears that the puzzle parts are all fitting together. Could we be wrong and this fail? Unfortunately, there is always that possibility, at least in appearance, though maybe not in long term. But whatever the outcome, I am grateful that Yahweh has given us insight and affirmation at every junction, continuing our journey, and that He has given us the strength and the will to endure.
What are our plans for Passover? From the outset, even though I had seen each step as the hopeful conclusion, I never felt it right to gather for them. But, we will gather for Passover, beginning April 25. One would need to arrive the day before, Friday, April 24. We will gather here in Salem, Missouri, at my home. Right now, our plans are to gather for that weekend. However, if we receive that which is being evidenced as addressed here, and the Elijah covenant with the many begins, then these two days are only the beginning of a wonderful three and a half years. If I am wrong, I am wrong. However, I and we would moreso be wrong if upon seeing these marvelous truths we refused to act on them in hope for their MUCH NEEDED fulfillment. At this point, and considering the GREAT need today, we can do no less.
